Vanilla Baked Pears
½ cup Pfeiffer Seriously Pink
2 vanilla beans
1 cup sugar
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Split the vanilla beans and place in heavy-based pan with Seriously Pink, slowly bringing to the boil and reducing to a simmer. Simmer for 5 minutes. Stand and cool for 5 minutes. Remove the vanilla beans and scrape the seeds into the Seriously Pink.
Cut the pears into quarters and place in an oven proof dish or tray, then pour the pink mixture over the pears and sprinkle with the sugar. Bake for 15 minutes or until pears are tender and golden. Serve with a glass of Pfeiffer Frontignac.
