History Of Our Local Paddlesteamers Exhibition
Paddle steamers were one of Australia’s inland pioneering transport systems and at their peak there were about 190 paddle steamers operating on the Murray-Darling rivers.
As a major river port at the time, the Wahgunyah Historical Society has a large collection of pictures and photographs of local paddle steamers including P.S Wahgunyah and P.S Corowa as well as others that passed through the port. Join us at Pfeiffer Wines throughout the month of August to view this exciting exhibition.
