Since 1974, thousands and thousands of people have descended on Rutherglen over the Long Weekend in June for one of the biggest wine festivals in the country.
Join us again, in 2026 between Friday June 5th and Sunday June 7th for an epic jam-packed, fun-filled long weekend of wine tastings, live music, entertainment, tours and masterclasses.
Friday ONLY
We always kick off Roam Rutherglen with our annual Giant Warehouse Sale on the Friday. We slide the warehouse doors open at 9am and sell bargains galore until 4pm. There are Lucky Dip dozens, dusty old museum wines and plenty of things in between.
Chris, Jen and Robyn Pfeiffer will all be on hand for advice and questions and the wines are available for tasting on the day, so clean out the car boot and get yourself to Distillery Road for this special day. You do not need a Roam Rutherglen ticket to attend this event.
SUPER Saturday
Saturday of Roam Rutherglen is the same great festival fun, just at a slower pace with more exclusive wine experiences, masterclasses, tours, giveaways and special events only available on Saturday. Its also cheaper to attend Saturday. Book HERE
Saturday and Sunday
If you are attending Roam Rutherglen with family or friends in your own car, all you need is a festival ticket. There are General Admission and VIP Wine Lover options. Book HERE  Designated drivers are even eligible for free tickets!
If you are attending Roam Rutherglen with your mates in a vehicle that seats 8 or more people you need to make sure you register your vehicle or bus so it can be booked in with a designated timeslot at each winery. Register Your Bus HERE Once your registration is approved, you will receive a confirmation email with your log in details. Simply hit the link and start planning your itinerary. Please Note: We do not have many Sunday Time Slots left available so if you are thinking of coming to us, please be quick!Â
If you are just wanting to come to Pfeiffer Wines on this weekend to the cellardoor to taste and buy that is fine too! You do not need a Roam Rutherglen ticket. Simply book your Seated Tasting Experience HERE Don’t forget, Pfeiffer Wine Club Members are eligible for complimentary tastings for themselves and three guests. Please Note: Bookings this weekend are essential.
Once you are at Pfeiffer Wines, there are multiple locations where you can taste and purchase our wines, depending on your ticket type.
If you have a Festival Lovers General Admission ticket you can try and buy under our Big Top, near the Juke Box tent and if you don’t want to try before you buy, wine purchases can be made at the Sparkling Bar, the Pink Slushy and Moscato Bar and the Meet and Greet Quick Sales area at the entrance to the winery.

Wherever you are tasting this weekend and whatever your wine flavour of choice is, be it, easy going or serious, fresh and fruity, rich and red or fortified and world-class, we have something for everyone.
And if wine tasting is not your thing, join the dance party at our Juke Box, enjoy our epic frozen pink slushy’s, fill up on some hot and hearty winter foods served up by the band of volunteers from the Wahgunyah Football Club and even grab a personalised photo of your group in costume and have it put on your favourite bottle of Pfeiffer wine.
